YOGA STUDIO INFORMATION

Our Hot Yoga Studio is located at 26 Milsom Place.

​

You can access the Yoga Studio from the entrance to Milsom Place off Milsom Street. Or you can access it from the entrance to Milsom Place on Broad Street. Follow signs to YogaKave.

​

Bring your own yoga mat, a drinks bottle, sweat towel and shower towel with you. We do have yoga mats if you need to borrow one.

​

This Hot Yoga Studio is heated at 35 degrees for most classes.

 

We have shower facilities, lockers and toilets.

​

IMPORTANT: Due to limited space in the studio, we have a 12 Hour Cancellation Policy. You will not be issued a refund if you cancel a class with less than 12 hours before the class starts.

​

IMPORTANT: You will not be able to enter into the class if you are more than 5 minutes late. This is for your own safety and for the experience of other members.

​

IMPORTANT: Do not bring children, pets or dependants to the studio whilst you have a class. In this case you would be denied entry to the class. 

​

On arrival you will be asked your name so that we can check you in, but also to help us get to know you.

Medical Disclaimer for Yogakave


Please read this disclaimer carefully before participating in any yoga classes or activities offered by Yogakave Your health and well-being are our top priorities, and we want to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience. 


By participating in our classes, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
 

Consultation with a Healthcare Professional: It is important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new exercise programme, including yoga if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns about your health.
 

Assessment of Your Physical Conditions: It is your responsibility to accurately assess your physical conditions and limitations. Please inform your yoga instructor of any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations before starting class. This will help us provide modifications and adjustments to ensure your safety.

Personal Responsibility: Participation yoga classes at Yogakave is voluntary. You are participating at your own risk and acknowledge that yoga 
involves physical activity that may present a risk of injury. You assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which you might incur as a result of participating in our classes.

 

Listen to Your Body: During class, it is essential to listen to your body and work within your own limits especially as the environment is Hot.

Do not push yourself to the point of pain or discomfort. If you experience pain, dizziness, or any unusual symptoms, stop the activity immediately and consult with your healthcare provider.


Pregnancy: If you are known to be pregnant, You can under no circumstances practice Hot Yoga at Yogakave. 
 

Informed Consent: By participating  in our yoga classes, you give your informed consent to follow the instructions provided by the instructor. You understand that it is your responsibility to communicate any discomfort or concerns during the class.

Release of Liability: You release Yogakave, its instructors, staff, and affiliated parties from any liability for any injuries or damages that may occur while participating in our classes. This includes injuries resulting from the negligence of Yogakave or its representatives.
 

Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency during a class, Yogakave will seek appropriate medical care but cannot be held responsible for the outcome. By participating in our yoga classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this medical disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of this disclaimer, please do not participate in our classes. If you have any questions or concerns about your ability to  participate in our yoga classes, please consult with a  healthcare professional before attending. Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance to us.

 

 

Code of Conduct for Yogakave


At Yogakave we are dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and harmonious environment for all students, instructors, and staff. Our Code of Conduct outlines the behaviours and expectaiexpectations that help foster a positive and inclusive community. We kindly request all individuals associated with our studio to adhere to these principles:


1. Respect for All


1.1 Respect for Others: Treat every individual with kindness, respect, and empathy, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.


1.2 Respect for Space: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the studio. Respect the property and equipment provided by Yogakave.
 

2. Mindful Conduct


2.1 Arrival and Punctuality: Arrive at the studio on time for classes and events. Latecomers should enter quietly to minimise disruptions we reserve the right to prohibit entry to anyone arriving more than 5 minutes late to a class or event.


2.2 Silence and Focus: Maintain a quiet and focused atmosphere within the studio, especially during classes and meditation sessions.

2.3 Silencing Devices: Please turn off or silence electronic devices, including mobile phones, to avoid interruptions and where possible leave in the lockers in the changing rooms.


3. Personal Hygiene and attire


3.1 Appropriate Attire: Wear appropriate attire suitable for Yoga Practice. Shorts to be no less than mid thigh and sports shorts, not underwear. Bras must be Sports Bras and not underwear.


4. Safety and Health


4.1 Injury Prevention: Listen to your body and practice within our limits to prevent injury. Inform instructors of any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries.


4.2 Illness: If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting symptoms of illness, please refrain from attending classes to protect the health of others.


5. Respect for Instructors


5.1 Listen and Follow Instructions: Follow the guidance of instructors during classes. If you have concerns or questions, address them respectfully after the session.


5.2 Feedback: Provide constructive feedback through appropriate channels, avoiding negative or disruptive comments during class.

6. Inclusivity and Diversity


6.1 Inclusive Language: Use inclusive language and avoid discriminatory or offensive remarks or actions.


6.2 Cultural Awareness: Respect and appreciate the diversity of cultures and backgrounds represented in our community.


7. Privacy and Confidentiality


7.1 Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Do not share personal information or experiences without permission.


8. Cleanliness and Order


8.1 Personal Belongings: Keep personal belongings tidy and in designated areas.


9. Non-Discrimination and Harassment


9.1 Anti-Harassment: Yogakave has a strict anti-harassment policy. Harassment of any kind is prohibited and will not be tolerated.


10. Dispute Resolution


10.1 Grievance Procedure: If you have concerns or grievances, please follow the procedures outlined in our Grievance Policy for resolution.

11. Compliance with Policies


11.1 Policy Adherence: Familiarise yourself with and adhere to all policies and guidelines of Yogakave including but not limited to our Anti-Harassment Policy, Grievance Policy, and Refund Policy. Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in appropriate action, including, but not limited to, a verbal warning, suspension, or expulsion from classes or events at Yogakave.


By participating in our yoga studio activities, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct, contributing to a positive and supportive community.

Refund Policy for Yogakave


1. Introduction


At Yogakave we are commited to providing quality yoga classes and services to our students. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines our guidelines and procedures related to refunds for our yoga classes, workshops, and programs.


2. Tuition Fees and Payment


2.1 Tuition Fee Structure: Tuition fees for each yoga class, workshop, or program will be clearly communicated on our  website, promotional materials, or in-person at our studio.


2.2 Payment Deadline: Payment for classes, workshops, or programs must be received by the specified deadline to secure your spot.
 

2.3 Payment Methods: We accept payment through various methods, including credit/debit cards and cash under discretion of Yogakave.

3. Refund Eligibility


3.1 Full Refund: A full refund of tuition fees will be provided, if:


• Yogakave cancels the class, workshop, or program.


• A student cancels enrolment at least 12 hours before the start date of the class, workshop, or program.


3.2 No Refund: No refund will be provided if:


• A student cancels enrolment after the class, workshop, or program has started., or after the 12hr cancellation period.


• A student does not extend the scheduled classes or sessions without prior notice within the 12hr cancellation policy.


• A student is expelled or dismissed from the class, workshop, or program due to violations of Yogakave’s policies or codes of conduct.

4. Refund Request


4.1 Request Procedure: To request a refund, students must contact Yogakave in writing via email, via the website or via the app.


4.2 Refund Timing: Refunds, when approved, will be processed within 5-7 days of receiving a valid refund request.


4.3 Refund Method: Refunds will typically be issued in the same method as the original payment. Yogakave reserves the right to use an alterna0ve method if necessary.


5. Transfer of Enrolment


5.1 Transfer Policy: In some cases, students may be eligible to transfer their enrolment to another class, workshop, or program within Yogakave Transfer eligibility and conditions are subject to our Transfer Policy.


6. Special Considerations


6.1 Special Circumstances: Yogakave understands that there may be special circumstances that affect a student's ability to attend or complete a class, workshop, program, or class pass. 


Please contact us in advance if you have special considerations, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
 

7. Review and Revision


This Refund Policy may be periodically reviewed and updated to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Students are responsible for familiarising  themselves with the most current version of the policy.
 

By enrolling in classes, workshops, programs or buying of class passes at Yogakave, you agree to abide by this Refund Policy.
